Delete Account

Last updated: December 01, 2025

This page lets you permanently delete your PitchTime Pro account and the practice data attached to it. Account deletion removes your singing history, lesson stats, and player ratings. Before you can delete your account, your membership must be on the Free plan (no active Pro subscription).

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you return to PitchTime Pro in the future, you'll be starting fresh with a new account.

What We Delete

When we delete your account, we aim to remove or de-identify the personal data that makes up your practice history and profile, including:

  • Your account profile (display name and main student model row linked to your account).
  • Lesson results and history, including stored aggregate scores for pitch, timing, rhythm, and intervals.
  • Per-note and per-event analytics tied to your lesson results (such as pitch traces, interval classes, and rhythm breakdowns).
  • Your lesson bests, progress summaries, and any global rating or ranking data derived from your practice sessions.
  • Any student-specific configuration such as saved vocal range and gesture latency calibration.

We may retain limited non-personal or aggregated information (for example, anonymized analytics) and certain records we are legally required to keep (such as basic billing or security logs). See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Subscriptions and Billing

Account deletion is only available once your membership is on the Free plan. The deletion process does not cancel an active subscription for you; you must cancel first in the app.

  • If we still see an active Pro subscription or a Stripe subscription ID linked to your account, deletion will be blocked. You'll need to cancel first and wait until your membership shows Free.
  • You can cancel any active subscription from Settings → Membership → Manage subscription in the app.
  • You may still see past invoices or charges from before cancellation; those remain part of your billing history.
  • In some cases, we may need to retain minimal billing records for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, as described in our Subscription Policy and Privacy Policy.
